I have been a semi-professional musician since my start in club bands as a Lead Singer/Bassist in the 80's. I am a former member of recording and performing bands Saffire, Social Insects, NuBoys, ÖR, GenkideSka, Live Star Nation, and The Dustman Project. I started doing solo acoustic (Guitar and Vocals) music in 1996, starting by playing small venues throughout Southern California. I have had recording contracts with Ecclectica Records (Los Angeles, CA), Soul Joy Records (Austin, TX), and did studio work with Digitraxx Studio (San Diego, CA).
My diverse music interests/influences include (in no particular order): The Beatles, Paul McCartney, Wings, Bob Marley, Jimmy Cliff, Matisyahu, Fugazi, Elliott Smith, Lagwagon, Slightly Stoopid, Hüsker Dü, Toots and The Maytals, Sublime, Solas, Led Zeppelin, Blur, Jimi Hendrix, Radiohead, Nirvana, Descendants, RHCP, Brian Setzer, Beastie Boys, Delirious?, Black Flag, Everlast, Madness, The Specials, G. Love & Special Sauce, Morrissey, DCB, Young Dubliners, Dropkick Murphy's, Ride, Pearl Jam, Alice In Chains, Grateful Dead, The Clash, Danny Elfman, Elvis Presley, Oasis, Devo, David Bowie, The Smiths, The Kinks, The Rutles, Pedro The Lion, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Jam, Joy Division, Pixies, Rush, R.E.M., Sun Studio, Motown, the Wrecking Crew, and many others.
I aam a full-time Clinical Therapist and retired Army Officer. I am a graduate of Trinity International University; Bethel University San Diego; Hawai'i Pacific University, and long term resident of Makakilo, HI. I am the son of immigrants. My family and ethnic roots are from Cork City, Ireland with distant roots in Somerset, England. I am a life long supporter of Liverpool F.C and the Green Bay Packers.
